American Turf Flyers flying facility named Fitzgerald Field, features a 400-foot north/south asphalt runway, a 600-foot parallel grass runway, paved taxiways and paved start-up areas with hold-downs. Ample covered shelter area is provided along with a fully equipped heated and air-conditioned club house with both men’s and women’s restrooms. Drinking water, electricity, refrigerator and pop machine are provided and the clubhouse has a small kitchen. Two concrete heli-pads are located at the North and South ends of the pit areas for helicopters/turbines or engine tuning and work. There is also a large concrete pad with taxiway for large scale aircraft or jets.
