Flying field features a manicured grass field with a 750 foot runway located 1 1/2 miles southeast of the small town of Cannon City, Minnesota, 3/4 mile south of County Road 27 ( Nerstrand Boulevard) on Falk Avenue.

Itasca Radio Control Club has more than one trainer airplane complete with dual controllers that can be flown with the assistance of an experienced club pilot. These trainers are available to prospecive members for initial test flights. This allows beginner pilots to experience the fun of flying and testing their abilities before making a financial commitment to the hobby. Prospective members, guests, and anyone interested in the hobby is welcome at the flying site and meetings.

There is an alternate flying site at the Scott County Fairgrounds for use when the main field is closed. The flying field has 2 intersecting graded and asphalt paved runways that are 300' by 40' each. There is an extra 100' deep mowed grass overrun with one grass runway.
