The Patuxent Aeromodelers fly at Helwig Field, located on Steer Horn Neck Road in Hollywood, Maryland. Helwig Field features a 495' x 150' grass runway with overrun areas at each end of the field. A sunshade area is also on site with picnic tables, bulletin board, transmitter impound and frequency board. Pit area features waist high tables for working on aircraft, knee-high safety fencing to separate the pit area from the runway, and individual pilot flying stations.
